GENERAL: All items
are surplus hardware sold for legal utility, educational and entertainment purposes
only based on our policies. All items are sold as described and as is.
ORDERING & SHIPPING:
Order Form hotlinks are top of page. Please pay in full prior to shipment with
check, money order (MO), BidPay or Western Union (WU) (no credit
card or COD), made out to "Consumertronics". For fastest shipping,
please pay with Postal MO (if Canada, in $US), BidPay
or WU (allow 2+ weeks for checks and non-Postal MOs to clear
before shipping). Sales are based on a first come, first serve basis.
Some items are singular or limited quantity - once gone, there will be no more
at any price. We refund for any item we cannot supply. Prices and availabilities
may change without further notice, and as supplies dwindle, we will likely raise
prices. No onsite visits for any reason or type
are ever permitted. We ship all items, F.O.B. Albuquerque, NM. If no price is mentioned, then the price is negotiable. Please
allow 10 work days to ship for Ground and 3 work days to ship for 2nd. Day Air
and Overnight for us to retrieve hardware from storage, and to prepare it for
shipping. For all

COMBINED ORDERS S/H: A combined order
is one in which more than one item - hardware and-or publications - are bought
and paid for at the same time by the same customer and shipped to the same address.
Combined orders provide considerable savings in S/H. Shipping costs usually
depend mostly on item weight. Mostly because of the way we get charged for shipping
based on how we usually ship, the minimum shipping cost for any single item
is based on a weight of 1 lb, and any weight above an integral pound is usually
charged at the next highest integer pound rate (e.g. a 2.7 lb
package is charged at 3 lb rate). However, when items are combined, the
combined shipping weight of all of the items is usually substantially less than
if the items were shipped separately, resulting in substantial customer savings.
This is especially true if some of your ordered items are relatively light weight
(e.g. publications). In addition, you save substantial handling costs
by combining orders. And you take less of a chance that any item you may postpone
may later be no longer available. For combined orders, where the S/H is included
as part of the price of some or all of the items, we reduce prices accordingly
so you don't overpay for your overall S/H. Therefore, you should order ALL of
the items you are interested in at the same time as a combined order.
S/H CHARGES: Current S/H are stated
below for shipping weights up to 5 lbs (Continental USA UPS/USPS
ground rates, standard packaging (add 50% if AK, HI, USA VI, PR); inquire for
all other shipping destinations and modes, heavier weights, insurance above

RAM, 5 GB hard drive, 500 MHz, CDROM and floppy (internal or external), spare
USB and-or Ethernet ports, spare parallel and serial ports, internal or external
56K modem, good battery, and all cables (if drive or modem is external). Prefer
Dell, Gateway or Toshiba. Prefer Windows 98 or Windows 98SE. Prefer User Manual,
all original system and driver disks and CDROMs, and case. Qty: 1-6. We can
live with cosmetic blemishes - even serious ones - but each item must be 100%
functional. Fair value to us for Min. System is $250 each, but we will certainly

New, High-Quality TELEX MODEL M-40 MULTIMEDIA MIKE, with STANDMade-in-USA, New, high-quality off-white (creme-colored).
Easy to use! Most computer systems use industry standard SoundBlaster-compatible sound cards. You just plug the mike into the mike port. Just like I do with my Sony laptop. No special driver or hardware installation for this mike is require. Works as well for other audio recording devices, such as tape recorders, video cameras, recordable CD devices, etc. Ideal for voice recognition, online conversations (web telephone and chat), videocomferencing, speakerphone, voice commands, and wave file recordings.
A real bargain - similar type multimedia mikes sell for about $22 each (e.g. the RS 33-3025A). Many of these similar mikes require batteries (hidden underneath the stand). The high quality Telex M-40 does NOT require batteries as mike power is typically supplied by PC and other electronic devices it is connected to. Not only are these other battery-operated mikes a nuisance because you must often deal with their external batteries and battery problems and expenses (e.g. routine battery replacements and the batteries falling out or becoming intermittent), but these other mikes are wired to the batteries through their bases so you can't handle their mikes separately without also carrying the base around. However, these fine M-40 Telex mikes are not wired through their bases and are easily carried around without their bases using one hand for maximum comfort and versatility.
Telex electret condenser mike assembly with these features: (A) Unidirectional (cardioid pattern to minimize background noise and feedback - can be easily converted to much more omnidirectional by removing mike cap, then removing rubber grommet, then replacing mike cap), (B) High quality electret mike (output impedance 680 to 6000 ohms, depending on frequency), (C) Bandwidth is virtually flat between 200 Hz and 8 KHz (sampled 3 db rolloffs at 50 Hz and 15 KHz), (D) Sensitivity -50 db at 1 KHz, (E) Operating voltage range 1.5 Volt to 10 Volt, (F) Signal/Noise ratio (S/N) is 40 db minimum, (G) 3.5 mm stereo mike plug (miniplug), (H) 7.7 foot cord, (I) Fully adjustable mike boom angle. |
