COMBINED ORDERS S/H: A combined order
is one in which more than one item - hardware and-or publications - are bought
and paid for at the same time by the same customer and shipped to the same address.
Combined orders provide considerable savings in S/H. Shipping costs usually
depend mostly on item weight. Mostly because of the way we get charged for shipping
based on how we usually ship, the minimum shipping cost for any single item
is based on a weight of 1 lb, and any weight above an integral pound is usually
charged at the next highest integer pound rate (e.g. 2.7 lb is
charged at 3 lb rate). However, when items are combined, the combined
shipping weight of all of the items is usually substantially less than if the
items were shipped separately, resulting in substantial customer savings. This
is especially true if some of your ordered items are relatively light weight
(e.g. publications). In addition, you save substantial handling costs
by combining orders. And you take less of a chance that any item you may postpone
may later be no longer available. For combined orders, where the S/H is included
as part of the price of some or all of the items, we reduce prices accordingly
so you don't overpay for your overall S/H. Therefore, you should order ALL of
the items you are interested in at the same time as a combined order. For all

New and unused fine mica. Great for both electronic and many decorative and craft uses. Specifically made for insulating T0-3 body type transistors, thyristors, et al, especially high-voltage or hot-operating (e.g. 2N3055s). For transistor use, each transistor requires two stand-offs. ALSO: High quality mica is one of the most useful, unique, fascinating, wonderous and mysterious natural materials (transparent mineral crystals) - especially its wonderful electrical, thermal and optical characteristics - great for science and physics projects and experiments, and for making your own capacitors and crystal devices.

The standoffs are plastic washers with a "skirt" and is used to electrically and thermally isolate and insulate any part that is screw-attached to another part. Or they can be strung like beads. |

New HANDSET / HEADSET - to - DUAL
FEMALE MODULAR RJ11 PHONE CONNECTOR, 9" Cable
The handset connector / headset connector is the same type that typically connects a corded landline telephone's handset to the phone body. Also commonly used in headsets. Adapts and converts other types handset and headset devices directly to normal phone lines, for example, those used in telephone commercial and security operations.
Apparently also used for connecting up phone recording, monitoring, surveillance, amplifying (e.g. speaker phone), transmitting and receiving devices directly to a corded phone's handset connector that may or may not be an "unused" extension. It could be used to substitute the standard handset with, for example, a "handset" that is remotely controlled (e.g. by radio) so that the phone user can be some distance away from where the phone is physically at for billing or security purposes. Or for electronically adapting a normal phone for impromptu data transmissions and receptions - a modem type device on the fly.
Because the RJ11s are a dual connector, this adapter / converter was probably intended to adapt / convert two handset / headset / other type devices hooked to the phone at the same time, for example, the second one providing a listening post or three-party conference calling for a supervisor, business partner, spouse or friend. Or to interface a headset connector with a standard RJ11 connector for whatever other reasons you may have. |

COPPER CLAD CARBON

Round rods are new, 12 inches long, 3/8" diameter. Copper cladding greatly improves conductivity thereby making these rods far superior to the straight graphite carbon ones for hotter and better cuts and welds. They also make great electrodes for electroplating and similar uses. And can serve as temporary grounding rods, as power busses for high currents, for high voltage arcing applications, scientific applications, and science projects.

COMPACT, STURDY 36 SHELVES
WOOD CABINETFreshly repainted. Great for your collections of posters, pictures, paintings, drawings, prints, etchings, 78 rpm records, plates, plaques, files, folders, fonts, patterns, stampings, disks, tools, and your other collections. Can be laid or mounted on its side or back to store, separate, sort or collate items vertically.
Overall dimensions are 17.25 x 15.25 x 50 inches, 70 lbs (actual). Shelves are made of sturdy 1/4 in. plywood with cloth cemented on each one. Each shelf is 15 in. wide and 14.75 in. deep. Each shelf front and center has a 7-1/4 in. wide, 2 in. deep semicircular cutout for quick and easy handling of stored items. Spaces between shelves are 3/4 - 7/8 in. If you want more clearance, then remove shelves. Sides are pine, back is composite board. Has four large, ball wheels so that you can freely move it and nudge it into the tightest corners. Very efficient means to store relatively thin flat items of all types.
These types of cabinets are very hard to find. If you make it yourself, expect to pay at least $100 for material and parts and 50+ hours of your hard labor (assuming you have the skills and equipment to efficiently make such a cabinet).
I built this cabinet years ago to store plastic fonts for a electro-mechanical font machine. It has some wear and tear (mostly cosmetic), however, its functionally, versatility, efficiency, compactness and sturdiness are all hard to beat.
SHIPPING & DELIVERY: I live in Albuquerque, NM 87111. To save shipping charges, you should come to pick it up. Else, I can ship it via Greyhound to the nearest Greyhound terminal in your area (Greyhound does not make home deliveries), or I can deliver it your place. High Quality, Heavy-Duty Professional, Industrial 40" long Insulated
Gooseneck Extension/Holder
Professional, instrumentation-quality 5/8" thick, 40" long goose neck extension and holder. Much stiffer and longer than standard goosenecks you find on lamps. Has an instrumentation clamp at the end. One end of the gooseneck is a 5/8", 2" long dia. solid stem. The other end has a clamshell type clamp, outer dia. is 1.5" and hole is 0.5", hole is perpendicular to gooseneck shaft. This clamp has two screws at the top; when you remove them, the top semicircle part comes off. You can then place on the bottom half hole a 0.5" or so dia. pipe, tube or rod, and then place and screw the top part back on. Or if you wish, you can just simply bolt right throught the hole what you need to attach to the gooseneck. This clamshell type clamp stiffly rotates independently of the rest of the gooseneck. Of course, either end can be modified to suit your particular needs.
Uses only limited by one's imagination. For example, can be used to control the position of a mike, tool (e.g. power drill), magnifying glass, test equipment, lamp, camera, mirror, refernce book, phone, small computer or display, microscope, monitoring device, parts supply bin, soldering iron, cup holder, etc that you need immediate or convenient access to but don't want it cluttering up the top of your desk. Should much increase your capability and efficiency. The cheapo commercial lamp-top goosenecks are a very poor and unsatisfactory substitute for most practical applications of goosenecks. CORPORATE SEAL & NOTARY SEAL EMBOSSING PRESS,
Very Heavy Duty:
The far-preferred type of seal used by corporations,
notaries, and institutions (and many other uses limited only by the
imagination) is the one that actually embosses the paper and card stock
- looks really impressive and is much harder to counterfeit. Problem
is that manual embosser presses are very expensive. And the newer ones
are certainly much harder to use, and they lack the established class
and tradition deserving of any legal, financial or professional use.
The one I am offering is perhaps 25 years old but works fine, and makes
you look very established. Uses standard embossing seal dies. No seal
is included - you get your seals made at your expense from a business
that makes seals, personalized for your own needs. The seal dies you
get from a seal maker come assembled in a "V"-shaped springy structure
as shown. This assembly is then easily inserted in or removed from the
seal press. Therefore, you can easily interchange seals - one seal press
can handle all the seals you want.
The image also shows a modern seal embosser (not included, shown for
comparison purposes only) I purchased for $49 (just before a lot of
these classic ones, several of which I am now selling, showed up at
a sale). I can tell you from personal experience as a 6'2", husky guy
who works in a shop that these newer "tiny" embossers require far more
hand and arm strength and are much more apt to slip than the larger
and sturdier classic one shown and auctioned here. It is all a matter
of leverage and simple physics. I have also added plastic (i.e. heat
shrink tubing) to the handle to even further secure the grip and ease
the compression force.
Note that we have several high-quality
steel seal embossers. The one provided may not be identical to the one
shown in image that normally sell retail for about $50.

PRONEB COMPRESSOR / NEBULIZER AIR COOLING SYSTEM, MODEL 37-0101
I purchased this high-quality, heavy duty,
professional, "breathing unit" for localized cooling of electronics
circuits and mechanical parts, primarily for troubleshooting purposes.
I have never used this unit to assist me or anyone else in breathing
uses, and it is NOT sold for any medical or therapy application. It
is used and in good operating condition, however, I do not know all
of its prior use history. Just as you can buy dental picks from either
a dentist or a tool store (e.g. Harbor Freight), this unit is NOT to
be used in any medical or therapeutic capacity - only as an air pump
for shop use. The absolute only thing I have ever put through it is
ambient air, and have only used it briefly to test the concept of using
it to cool overheated circuit parts. It produces a lot of air under
good pressure, and I have not modified it in any way. It includes an
air tube I got when I bought it, original box, but no booklet.
Great for cooling machining, small welding, brazing and soldering operations,
and for troubleshooting electronic circuits for thermal instability
problems. I am selling it because I am semi-retired now, and my work
area is much more cramped than before. Again, I make no medical or therapeutic
claims.
